GERSH VOLUNTEERED

At 16, Gersh couldn't read unfamiliar tefillah.

He felt like a fraud. Avoided being called up for anything. Stayed in the back. Made sure he was never asked to lead.

When his family suggested Chani Karp, he was skeptical. He'd tried tutoring before — hours of practice that never stuck. Letters and nekudos that looked right one day, wrong the next.

This was different.

The Confident Kriah™ Method didn't just drill what he couldn't remember. It showed him why he couldn't remember. It gave him a framework his brain could actually hold.

The patterns he'd missed for years became visible. The shva that tripped him up made sense. Syllable breaks that felt arbitrary now had logic.

Months later, on a random Tuesday mincha, the gabbai looked for someone to daven.

Gersh volunteered.

He walked to the amud. Opened the siddur. And davened — really davened — from the actual words on the page.

Not from memory. Not by guessing. By reading.
